BECOME A STUDENT AMBASSADOR FOR P.E.A.C.E.!
AMBASSADOR CHALLENGE

As a "Student Ambassador for P.E.A.C.E.", you  have the rare opportunity to make a direct impact on the world community- contributing to the making of a better society, one in which humanity throughout the hemisphere lives in greater harmony, peace, and understanding.

For you, to be able to experience the lifestyles of another country by way of a family living experience is an awesome opportunity.  It will profoundly affect your world and life views and open your mind and heart to reach for great challenges, with the courage to meet them.

Sharing your faith and convictions, your hopes and dreams, your charity and compassion - making new friends, becoming brothers and sisters and daughters and sons to a new family, to a new nation, to a new world - demonstrating by your example what's great about your country - its people.

THAT'S WHAT P.E.A.C.E. IS ALL ABOUT!

STUDENT EXPENSES

The exchange student's natural parents are responsible to provide spending money for personal items such as pictures, yearbooks, entertainment, souvenirs, and clothing.  They are also responsible for their children's phone bills, medical insurance deductibles, and all routine dental and vision care.

STUDENT PLACEMENT

P.E.A.C.E. exchanges between the U.S. and several Latin American countries, such as Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela.  Placement location for USA outbound students is based on best availability of host families, a solid local support system, and political stability in the chosen host country.  You will probably attend private school and live in upper middle class neighborhoods.

THE BIG REWARD

P.E.A.C.E. emphasizes a full school year plan starting and ending in mid-summer.  Travel dates will vary by country.  We believe that only students who are committed to long-term immersion in a family, school and community setting can realize major benefits.  In the first semester you will begin to think in a new language and to function in a new culture.

You are a stranger in a strange land, BUT, in the second semester, you become operational.  You develop real friendships and gain true understandings.  You mature - performing at new heights.  Like the eagle, you know no limits.  There are no borders, only open skies.

YOU ARE NOW A CITIZEN OF THE WORLD!
